PREAMPLIFIER
Alexander
8-Tube Line & Phono Stage · XLR Balanced I/O
About the Alexander
Alexander is a reference-grade tube preamplifier using 8 signal tubes — 4 for the line stage and 4 for the phono stage. It provides 5 line inputs in addition to the phono input, a tape output, and 2 pre outputs with both RCA and XLR balanced connectivity.
A unique Through input allows the signal to pass directly to the output even when Alexander is powered off. Mundorf Evo signal capacitors are used throughout for exceptional sonic performance.
Power transformers feature copper foil shielding, positioned to minimize magnetic interference with the tube circuits. All components are through-hole, hand-soldered.
